REVIEW | RIMMEL Lasting Finish Nude Lipstick Collection by Kate Moss

Hey Everyone!!

I'm so excited to share this review I have on the brand spankin' new Rimmel the Nudes Lipstick Collection by Kate Moss!!

I found mine at London Drugs for $7.99 each and they weren't in any special display! They were with the other Rimmel products where I stumbled upon them along with the other Kate Moss lipsticks!

(At London Drugs where I found the lipsticks!)

There were 4 shades in total (#40 Pale Nude/#42 Apricot Nude/#43 Tan Nude & #45 Rose Nude) at the location I went to. The lightest shade was completely sold out and there was no tester either! However I doubt I would've grabbed it since it seemed like a concealer looking type of lipstick. I grabbed 2 of the 4 shades (#42 Apricot Nude & #45 Rose Nude) and the chapstick called the Kate Conditioning Balm! (in the white packaging with pink Kate Moss signature)

Although I didn't pick up shade #43 (had shimmery glittery looking stuff in it) I was able to swatch it along the other two nude shades they had testers for
(Top: #42, Middle #43, #45 Bottom)

At a glance looking at the packaging it looks just like the other Rimmel by Kate Moss lipsticks except the color of the packaging is a nude color with her signature in white. The chapstick is the one in the white packaging with the pink signature! Absolutely simple and adorable packaging!

Starting off with the lip balm I absolutely LOVE IT!

The packaging was so cute so I picked it up not really having high expectations for a lip balm but I absolutely LOVE it! It has a really nice formula to it where it is nice and hydrating on the lip, yet it isn't a heavy feeling on the lips at all. It's somewhere between an EOS lip balm (not hydrating at all in my opinion) to a Burt's Bee's lip balm (hydrating but somewhat thick and heavy on lips) which to me is the best of both worlds! You get a lip balm that is just as hydrating as the Burt's Bee's lip balm yet thinner! I find that this lip balm hydrates my lips for about 5-6 hours before I feel the need to reapply!
I definitely recommend the lip balm to those of you who have minimal dryness to your lips!(occasionally tight feeling). Those of you who have severely dry cracking peeling lips stay away! This product won't help fix your problem, you'll need something like vaseline that is more heavy duty.

Onto the lipsticks..

(Top: #42 Apricot Nude, Bottom: #45 Rose Nude. Natural Lighting)

They're the same formula as all the other Lasting Finish lipsticks and I love that formula!
I find these lipsticks to be very creamy! They glide onto the lips with ease which is something I always look for in any lipstick. Since they are creamy I find that they don't accentuate the lines on my lips. These lippes are very pigmented with just a swipe! However I like to do two coats to get the fully opaque color I see in the tube! I usually get around 5-6 hours of wear time out of these depending on how much I'm eating and drinking throughout the day!

I absolutely LOVE this new collection! I think Rimmel did a fantastic job as usual!
